French Flyair x Menton

An exceptional air show open to all

On Sunday 30 August 2026, the City of Menton will host French Flyair, co-organised by the Menton Tourist Office and Bleuciel Airshow.

From aerobatics to smoke trails, the sky over Menton becomes the stage for some of France's finest aerobatic pilots. The French Air and Space Force Aerobatic Team and the Patrouille de France, prestigious ambassadors of the French Air and Space Force, will perform a series of elegant and spectacular manoeuvres over the Mediterranean.

The old town, the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel, the colourful facades and the hills along the French-Italian border provide an instantly recognisable backdrop to the air show.

Travel by ZOU! train

Menton's railway station is less than a 10-minute walk from the heart of the event. It is the easiest way to attend French Flyair.

Trains are expected to run up to every 15 minutes. Please check the official timetable before travelling.

Yes, entry to French Flyair and the aviation village is free.

What time is the main air show?

The show is scheduled for 3 pm, subject to change. Check the City of Menton Facebook page (new window) for the latest information.

What is the best way to get here?

Train and bus are strongly recommended. The bus station and Menton railway station are less than 800 metres' walk from the seafront.

Where can I watch the displays?

The show will be visible from the seafront, particularly along the Promenade du Soleil.

Pedestrianised Promenade du Soleil: parking and traffic restrictions in place on the day.

Red routes: parking prohibited and traffic restrictions in place near the event.

Swimming / navigation

Restricted maritime zone: swimming, diving, anchoring and navigation are prohibited during the aerial displays.

Swimming will remain permitted within the designated bathing-only zones, known as areas, in Menton and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. These zones extend up to 100 metres from the shoreline.

ZRUB

A maritime area marked by yellow buoys where only swimming is allowed. All other water activities are prohibited to ensure the safety of swimmers.

Parking, traffic, swimming and navigation restrictions

Sunday 30 August: pedestrianisation of the Promenade du Soleil and traffic restrictions around the seafront.

Thursday 27 August (2 pm–7 pm), Saturday 29 August (10 am–6 pm) and Sunday 30 August (2 pm–6 pm): swimming, diving, anchoring and navigation are prohibited in the restricted maritime zone, outside the authorised ZRUB areas.
